Legal Notices for the Barren County Schools

Students, their parents, employees and potential employees of the Barren County School District and Barren County Area Technology Center are hereby notified the Barren County School District and Barren County Area Technology Center do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, parental status, martial status, veteran status, sex or disability in employment programs, vocational programs, or activities set forth in compliance with the office of Civil Rights, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, ADA and Section 504.

The Barren County School District offers the following vocational education programs for students in grades 9-12: agriculture, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology, PLTW engineering, PLTW biomedical science, and JROTC.

At the Barren County Area Technology Center, the following classes are available to students in grades 9- 12: HVAC, automotive, construction/carpentry, computer aided drafting, electricity, machine tool, welding, health sciences, information technology and business.

Any person having inquiries concerning the Barren County School District’s compliance with the office of Civil Rights Law Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, ADA, and Section 504 is directed to contact the superintendent of the school district.
